We’re just a little bit better! and it shows.
Each board is chosen for it’s unique character and used appropriately.
Then cleaned and sanded for smoothness yet leaving the “history” intact.
Our  In house finishes are not “one type fits all”.  They too are hand made, adapted and applied according their end use. This includes oils, shellacs, varnishes and pigmented waxes. Our time taken now gives our pieces a natural durability and long life. This is a multi-step process  as we re-nourish the thirsty older boards and replenish the natural oils, one layer at a time.

NO WE DO NO USE TUNG OIL. Many people have nut allergies and are very sensitive to this Asian Nut oil. We also don’t like it for a furniture finish, we prefer our own tried and true methods. We  don’t like the lingering smell and we prefer to buy American Products when at all possible.

Our pieces are then hand-waxed the old fashioned way showing the beautiful natural patina of aged wood and giving the table a little extra protection.
